I have a passion For Skincare…

And , during my first winter abroad, my skin was the driest it had ever been. I started researching and making my own skincare butter over ten years ago. The goal is to maximize the richness of natural and organic products, all to achieve glowing skin, deep moisturizing properties, and to slow aging.

Soft Skin Butter works wonders for my skin; I’ve been sharing it with family, and now I am super excited to share it with the world.

Our Emulsified body butter (Also known as our Creams) are made with natural Organic ingredients, including but not limited to Shea, Mango, Murumuru, Cocoa and Tamanu Butters, Jojoba oil, Glycerine, Water, Kernel Oil, and other Essential oils, and Lots of Love. Look at the back of your product for a complete list of ingredients.

Meanwhile, our whipped body butter is made with natural Organic ingredients including but not limited to: Shea, Mango, Murumuru, Cocoa and Tamanu Butters, Jojoba oil, Kernel Oil, Avocado oil and other Essential oils, and Lots of Love. For a full list of ingredients, just look at the back of your product.

FAQs

Are your products edible? they smell like candy?

While our products are non-toxic, our products are not designed for oral consumption, so please smell and close your eyes, lather it on your skin, but do not eat.

What is the expiration date for the body butter? How long before it goes bad?

Our body butters are good for at least 12 months after purchase. However, if our butters are part of your routine, we know this becomes less of your concern.

Can I use Soft Skin Butter to treat skin conditions?

Our butters are not assessed for medical treatment. However, we have received revviews from users stating, reduced eczema, inflamation, eliminated flakiness and more consistent retained moisture in a short time after using our products. Please let us know if this ends up beign your experience.

The texture from this new order is different from the texture of my previous order. Did you change your formula? Is that normal?

At HOD, we do our best to maintain consistency as much as possible by using the same process and formula for each batch, varying on the product and flavour. Please remember, in each product, our natural ingredients were living, breathing organisms with their own DNA and patterns and therefore reactions. Your delivered textures may differ from one batch to the next, but we strive to give you the same experience in soft, malleable and perfect butters.

What is the shelf life of your product?

The shelf life is approximately 12 months for most products in our range (we are 100% confident you will finish your SSB long before then). To help maintain the longevity of your purchase, we recommend storing away from extreme heat and sunlight and storing in a cool place.

Oh No!!! my whipped body butter melted. What do I do???

Take a deep breath, don't panic. Because our products are natural, changes to the texture can occur in extreme heat. Please Refrigerate your butter for about 20 minutes. It will solidify. The texture will change, but the nourishing value remains the same. Remember to store it as indicated on the label.

Can I put the body butter in my hair?

Yes you can. Our body butter is 100% natural. While it was not made with the intention to be a hair product, we do not use chemicals or agents that harm the skin or scalp. Always confirm if you have any allergies to ingredients in our products by reading the ingredient list AND doing a patch test.

Do you offer wholesale opportunities?

At the moment we do not offer wholesale opportunities as we carefully prepare our products to achieve excellence in smaller batches. However send us your inquiry towards the future.

What if I want to return the product, can i return it?

At HOD our goal is to provide an exceptional level of customer satisfaction to you. We understand that some of our products may not meet individual expectations. However, as mentioned, we do not issue refunds or exchanges on products ordered. Please reach out to us on the Contact us page and we would be happy to discuss your concerns and try to solve your issues.

What is the best way to travel with Soft Skin Butter?

Our products are safe for travel, however, they may liquefy if they are over-exposed to heat. If you are carrying our butters in luggage, we suggest securing in in a sealable bag or leak-proof toilet bag to avoid leakage.
